ST Cut Quartz in COMSOL

Unfortunately quartz is complicated. COMSOL contains 4 sets of material parameters for quartz, because there are two sets of standards (IRE 1949 and IEEE 1978) and two variants (left and right handed).

A further complication is that ST is a rotated cut, meaning that you need to rotate either the material coordinate system or the geometry.

I'm glad I don't work with quartz.
