Laser processing of material like paper and cotton fabric which burn and not melt during the processing

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I want to simulate the laser processing of paper and cotton fabric. The material mentioned does not melt during the laser processing, but they burn when exposed to laser after attaining some temperature. What should be done to account for the burning tempearture, so that the simulation provides satisfying results from the processing?

Your suggestions are very important to me. Thank you all in advance.
