Problem in sub-modeling in a two cylinder assembly

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

In the attched model in the component1 (Main-Model) The two cylinders are pressed together with the help of a rigid roller (3rd Cyllinder). In this process there is sufficient contact pressure is generated at the interface of cyllinders and the study 1 is complete. Now I want analyze the effect of creep on a square cavity (micro-meter dimensions) at the interface in the cyllinder 2, ( want to find out the increase/decrease in area of cavity due to creep after years). For that I make the cavity in component2 (sub-model) and cut a small rectangular area near the cavity and using general extrusion give the prescibed displacement to it and performed the study 2 (time dependent) but in the results there is no creep strain produced it seams like the coupling is not occur properly between two model. Please help me in finding possible errors. Thanks for your valuable suggestions. Shyam
