Modifying the Donnan boundary condition

Is it possible to modify the Donnan boundary condition at the solution-ion exchange membrane interface? This would be due to the activity coefficient correction between a diluted aqueous solution and a strong ion-exchanger. Also, there might be some specific interactions between the ions and the membrane, which is reflected in differences of the standard chemical potentials in these two phases.

Can this be circumvented by using the Electrostatics module (Poisson-Boltzmann equation)?
