Time dependent solver can not converge (Last time step is not converged)

Hi,

I am using the Heat Transfer module, coupled with Fluid Flow to simulate air and water flow in a specific heat exchanger. I have used a step function for the inlet velocities of air and water to smooth the initial values for convergence. However, at a specific time step (where the velocity step function is about to go up), the model would not converge and I get the error of "maximum number of intermediate iterations reached, last time step is not converged". I have tried different mesh qualities but this problem always occurs. Can anyone help what I can do in this condition?
