Compression of metallic sphere

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello :) I'm a beginner in Comsol. I want to simulate the compression of a spherical metallic particle (in temperature above its melting temperature) between two plates that are getting closer to each other. I already have created geometry and moving parts. The problem with physics is left: - What should I put in definition (except of two contact pairs between each of the plates and sphere)? - Is Comsol will understand the changing from solid to liquid state of material?

Thank you in advance :)
