Hello,
I am trying to use the Electromechanics simulation in 4.2a, but found that the check box for "Include Geometric Nonlinearity" is always checked by default and cannot be unchecked (grey check box), just wondering is this normal?

Hi
Yes it is "normal" as you have large deformations to take care of in most EMI applications, Even if you try to make your own combination ALE+Solid+ES you will have it checked because of the ALE
This means that your model is "heavier" and mostly non-linear, hence takes some more time to solve, but you will not violate the hypotheses if linear small strain inherent with the unchecked case
