Generating voltage in PZT due to mechanical displacement

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,
In my model, I initially, generated mechanical vibrations (lamb waves) in an aluminum plate by supplying electric potential to the PZT(attached to the plate).

Now, I want to do the reverse, that is detect electric potential in a PZT by sensing the mechanical vibrations

Surprisingly, it doesnt work the other way around. Can somebody help me with this?
Am I missing any boundary condition/?
