I am a new user of COMSOL and am trying to determine the best PDE mode and an approach to solving the following problem:
(∂^2/∂x^2) u(t, x) - u(t, x) = - i(t, x)
where u(t,x) = 0.5*e^(-|x|)
i(t,x) = δ(x) localized at x = 0.
Boundary conditions should be u(+infinity) = 0 and u(-infinity) = 0.
Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
