Hi Radu, A colleague of mine brought your comment to my attention. The variable is part of the Scharfetter-Gummel scheme used by the default finite volume discretization to compute the drift-diffusion current density. The formulation is complicated and it is impossible for us to document all the details. Nevertheless if you contact us at support@comosl.com and let us know what you would like to do, we may be able to provide some suggestions. Please do note that in general our support team can not help with any customized model with modifications to the Equation View. Sincerely, Chien
