The coordinates of mesh grids

the system can only return a matrix with a size 1038*1. That is, it only has the information of electric potential of each grid but without the coordinates of each grid. However, when I plot the result, it can exactly show the location of each result. So there must be a coordinate matrix indicating the location of each grid hiding in some place. (Maybe it's in fem.xmesh)
Is anybody know where I can find this matrix and how I can have access to it in Matlab? Thanks!
