Hello,
I am trying to model a system that involves a seismic mass mounted on a foam spacer, which is in turn mounted on a shaker. Therefore, the system can essentially be described as a base-excited mass-spring-damper system.
I am hoping to find the undamped natural frequency and/or the resonant frequency, but I have no prior experience to COMSOL and with so many options available of how to go about solving what seems to be a relatively easy problem compared to the examples I've seen, I was hoping someone could suggest the best way(s) in approaching it.
Thank you!
