Spiral Induction Coil Geometry Issue

Hello All,
I have been attempting to make a spiral coil for a simple induction heating simulation. To make the coil, I have swept a circle along a parametric curve (an Archimedes spiral). However, when the sweep reaches the end of the curve, the circle ends up slightly rotated from how it began and I cannot close my geometry. In the attached image ("Coil Zoom") the bottom piece is the coil with its end at a small angle of rotation and the top piece is what I am attempting to connect it with.
Is there any simple way to force these geometries together? It seems like I am able to use the "Collapse Faces" command to the right of the centerline as the geometries are overlapping but I cannot easily close the gap seen on the left-hand side.
Thanks.
Matt
