External Current Density around parametrically defined solid

In a workplane I have created an odd shape with parametrically defined curves. I then made solid and extruded. I also created a square which I swept around the odd shape to be a wire. Now I would like to add an external current to the wire and do not the best way to describe the current in the funny shape. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
