Difference between current terminal and current density loads

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am hoping that someone could clarify the difference between using a terminal for current and using a current density. Does the current terminal apply the input value across all nodes/elements, or does it automatically divide the input value by the area it is being applied to (therefore making it similar/the same as a current density)?

I've tried looking through the documentation but I couldn't find anything. I've run some simulations where it doesn't make a noticeable difference in which type of input I use, and others where it greatly affects the results.

Thank you in advance,
Theodore
