Dr Ivar can please answer this question?

I want to create a geometry which is a straight cylindrical pipe with openings 15 circular holes provided as inlet to the cylindrical pipe. The purpose is to simulate a bubble column for air-water. The circular holes are inlets for air, please you suggest how to make openings and what physics to use(level set or phase field)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

I'm not an expert on fluidics, but I would start a) in 2D with a line and a few openings, b) study intensively the boiling water example of the model library (do not forget to update your COMSOL model library regularly, they are adding in many new models very regularly)

Good luck
