[4.1] extrusion 2D-axi in 3D

Hi everybody.

This is my problem : I import temperature map which is calculated in 2D-axi and I want to calculate the stress in 3D. I don't find how to extrude this variable in a new geometry. I don't know if I have to create a new model with 3D geometry or if I can extrude geometry also.

I remember I didn't have problem in version 3.5 because I follow example : "2D Axi-symmetric transient heat transfer". Do you know if here is same simple example for extrude variable with version 4.1?

Thank you for your time, Benjamin.

Hi, it's me again.

I made a mistake in my example. This is what I use for comsol 3.5 : www.comsol.fr/support/knowledgebase/982/

As you can see there is a very detailled example to extrude 2D-axi variable in a 3D variable that we can use in a 3D physics later. Do you know if this example existing in version 4.1 or something likeness?

Thank you, Benjamin Gallien.

Hi Benjamin, I'm trying to do the same but the link is broken, can you help me with some advice, or any document or link.
