Height variable in mooving geometry

Dear all,
I have defined a moving geometry with a defined velocity for one boundary. I have created a condition on the velocity of the boundary, if the heigth of the geometry exceeds a certain value, the velocity is equal to 0.
My problem is that I don't find the variable which corresponds to the length of the moving geometry. For this reason I have defined the length by the equation : L=v*t, but after it exceeds the condition v=0 and the program crashes.
Do you know the name of the variable or an other solution ?
Thank you in advance.
With best regards.
Simon
