Hi all,
I want to do a bending simulation for a plastic (PE) tube and would like to see the stress and section force when the radius of the bending curvature is 2 cm.
I set the tube to be 62.8 mm long, fix one end, and set prescribed displacement of the other end to have a x-displacement of 40 mm and y-displacement of -62.8 mm (see attached figure and file).
However, I found that the tube did not bend as what I want and the displacements were also not as the setting. Does anyone have any idea about how shall I set it? Thanks a lot!
