Eigenfrequency Study, tension of a beam

Hi,
I am trying to find the resonance frequencies for a beam, with compression/tension. It has one fixed end and the other end has a load, tension, stretching it.
I have tried the eigenfrequency study, and it appears to solved for the bending frequencies of the beam, and ignores the load in the physics.
Is it possible to change this to solve for compression/tension instead of bending?
Thank you for any help. Regards David
