stress tensor in nonlinear elastic material

Hi all Could you please tell me how can I enter the prestress tensor in the case of nonlinear elastic material. Since in this case, there is no initial stress and strain option available.

Thanks

Hi,

As far as I remember, the Nonlinear Elastic Material has had an Initial Stress and Strain subnode ever since it was introduced (in version 5.0). Which version are you using?

Regards,

Henrik

Hi Henrik,

Yes, you're right. It was better to say Hyperelastic materials. In fact, I have modeled a hyperelastic material with external stress-strain relation in Comsol 5.3. Then I have loaded it. Now I want to use its stress tensor in other study step. How can I do it?

Thanks Best regards,
