Scattering, and absortpion for metallic nanocubes.

Hello. I'm trying to simulate the electric field and the optical spectrum for metallic nanocubes. However, I think that I'm doing something wrong because I'm taking as a base a model with a sphere. I'm considering a [S_in=E0^2/(2*Z0_const)] and [sigma_sc=intop_surf(nrelPoav)/S_in], [sigma_abs=intop_vol(emw.Qh)/S_in]. Are these variables the same for a spehere than a cube?

Thanks.
