Hi,

I am simulating slab with surface crack in heat transfer & solid mechanics domain.I have given contact pair at the crack faces.I have to do transient analysis. Some error is coming during simulation. It tells some initial value is missing. I s it possible to simulate contact physics with transient analysis?/
Pls help..

Regards!!

Hi

I belive so, but the best is always to check your initial values with a load initial values (in v4 right lick on the Dependent Variables node and "Compute to selected"

Good luck
