Studying the deflection of a polymer membrane embedded with iron particles

I am trying to simulate the deflection of a polymer membrane embedded with iron particles. The deflection is due to a magnetic field. The model is a 2d-axisymmetric model.
For solving this, I have initially solved the magnetic field interface to obtain the electromagnetic force acting on the iron particles.
In order to find the deflection, I had two approaches:
1. To use global ODE and DAE along with moving mesh interface.
2. To use Solid Mechanics interface and give the boundary load condition with a total force acting on the membrane to be the electromagnetic force.
Is this approach correct? Kindly advise.
