Term in brinkmann equations in free and porous media flow

Hello,
The brinkmann equation from the free and porous media flow includes a beta_F * abs(u) term which is not described in the manual. It is not a parameter from the porous matrix (this only contains the porosity and permeability), so what is it?

Nevermind, it has to be the Forchheimer drag coefficient for people that are wondering.
