Cross polarization calculation

Recently I try to dig into optical chirality, and I simulate a planar array of meta split ring resonator . I intend to pass a normally incident wave along z direction, with linear polarization Eix in x direction. I want to see if the transmitted light has the electric field in the y direction (Ety), and calculate the cross polarization transmission Txy=Ety/Eix.
Can someone give hint how to do that? I used period port and calculateed the difraction order. The high order modes show in-plane and out-of-plane components, but the fundamental modes at port 1 and port 2 show only one , they donot show two modes in-plane and out of-plane. What I would like to get is the S21=Ety/Eix.
