Relate parameters to already constructed model

Hello everyone,
I am new to COMSOL and constructing a geometry in COMSOL has been really a tedious task for me. I would really appreciate if someone could come up with helpful suggestions .

Is there anyway we can relate parameters to a already constructed geometry that is being imported from Solidworks or any other software or in the comsol itself which was constructed without using parameters value in the begining?

Thank you.

Sachet

Hi Sachet,

If you import from SolidWorks, you will not have any parameters in your import. However, if you have a LiveLink COMSOL MP<->SolidWorks, then you are able to update dimensions on demand. And if you create the geometry with COMSOL MP, then you input parameters instead of values in the geometry inputs.

Yea thanks. Well i did build in the COMSOL itself. Do you come across convergence issues when solving the problem?
Thanks .
