Piezoelectric constant PVDF

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I would like to start, with saying that i really like Comsol, it is the most inuitive finite element software i have used. I am currently using your software to simulate piezoelectric devices that use PVDF. I was wondering though what source you used for the coupling matrix of the PVDF of the material in the material library of comsol. I am mainly curious why your d33 constant is positive, since all other sources i have seen use a negative piezoelectric constant.

Best regards,

Martijn
