create own PDE

Hello everyone!

I try to calculate a vector n which is part of an PDE. This equation consist of a curl and divergence of n.
Is there any possibility to add this PDE in Comsol, although the build-in general and special PDEs do not fit?

The given problem is electrostatic and I am using Comsol Multiphysics 3.5

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards.

Hi

normally you can add your equations simply by a) an additional equation in your physics/application mode or b) add a sepcific PDE/ODE physics/application mode (this is valid for 3.5 as well as for v4

there are several examples in the model library, try it out

Good luck
