Saving Fem as *.mat

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone

I'm used to build my models with matlab and save the fem structure as *.mat file. However every time I load the fem I had to rerun the meshextend command to access the solution (i.e. plot the solution).
In small models this is not really a problem, but lately I'm working with a model with many 3D unstructured functions and meshextend runs for ages >5 hours.

Is there anyway to save the fem structure without the need to rerun the meshextend command?

Thanks

Giorgos
