I chose to start with 2D axisymmetric and stationary so Comsol can make easy and quickly calculations.
In this step I only have a form assembly of the steel hot billet (1,230°C) and the upper and lower die. The lower die has a fixed constrain in the bottom boundary and a boundary load is applied to the upper boundary of the upper die in the -z direction, of course.
The problem is that the billet is not getting deformed at all, it looked like if the load is doing nothing to the billet. Instead, the upper die is having a lot of deformation, and this is not supposed to happen at all.
I'm using solid mechanics for the mechanical part of the problem, and I'm adding the temperature with the thermal expansion domain insided the solid mechanics physic. I don't know if I'm making this in the correct way.
I don't know why Comsol is not let it me attach any file here.
I'll appreciate any help.
Thank you!
