Evaluate All in New Tables

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I have several surface integral derived values that I would like to run all at once, but I need them all to evaluate in new tables. If I evaluate them one by one, I can choose "New Table" from the drop down menu, but what if I want to right click the derived values section and choose "Evaluate All"? Is there any way to control where the data will go in this case?

It would be really helpful if I could evaluate all but still control where the data goes, because I have 5-10 derived values that each take an hour to compute, so this would allow me to click one button and wait overnight instead of having to babysit all day.

Thanks!
Dave

You can achieve that with an application. Same idea as in www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/100121 , and www.comsol.com/community/forums/results-and-visualization/thread/113991: repetitive post-processing tasks lend themselves very well to the use of methods in an app.
Best,
Jeff
