Thermo-optic effect in fibers

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

I am trying to solve propagated modes in a fiber optics under thermal condition. I am using multiphysics RF and heat transfer. I don't know how to include change of refractive index due to temperature. thee is a dndT coefficient which results in a new refractive index of n=dndT*T+n0.

has any one solved this problem before? I greatly appreciate any help here. this is kind of ARGENT.

Sali
