Acoustic scattering from inclusion in COMSOL v4

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,

I'm trying to model acoustic scattering from a gas filled inclusion in v4 without success yet. The model consists of three domains: an inclusion (gas filled), a fluid layer (water), and a PML.

As far as I remember this was done in 3.5a by using two acoustic application modes (acpr, acpr2), where "acpr2" contained the inclusion with pressure boundary condition "p0=p_t_acpr". While "acpr" contained the fluid and PML, and the boundary to the inclusion in “acpr” was set to "sound hard".

Any ideas on how to do this in v4?

Thanks,
Geir
