How to build a Wavy wall using "COMSOL Geometry "

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All
I am pretty new to COMSOL and I am working on Natural Convection In Cavities which is having either one wall or multiple wall having a simple Sinusoidal wavy profile or which might be having an equation .
I am attaching a sketch of a square cavity with a wavy wall for All for better understanding.
Does any body know how to build this by using COMSOL Geometry?
Thanks in Advance

How about this? 3D model, a work plane at z = 0.

1. Draw a parametric curve:
parameter s
xw = s
yw = 0.001*sin(10*pi*s) + 0.002

2. Draw an open polygon:
xw = {0, 0, 0.1, 0.1}
yw = {0.002, 0.1, 0.1, 0.002}

3. Convert to solid:
Input objects are these two curves.

4. Extrude workplane by 0.01 m.

Done.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! CAN I MODEL A TRIANGULAR ENCLOSURE(fig attached) By this same method?

Of course, just replace polygon with an open triangle.
