to create hole in a thin film

I am facing problem to make holes in a thin film. I made a thin film using 'block' in geometry. Now I need to create holes of rectangular shapes in this film.

Thanks

Hi,

Make a 2D geometry with rectangular holes and then extrude (you can find this in work plane) that to required depth of the film.

Hi

I have made a hole in a silver metal film. Holes are periodic in the metal film. I have applied floquet bounday conditions. but I don't know what's the problem , I have tried all kind of meshing as well but still the simulation shows error.
