Thermal Contact between fluid and solid.

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to Comsol and I'm struggling with the following problem. I'm modeling fluid flow through a pipe at low temperatures (1K). At these temperatures there is a substantial thermal resistance between the fluid and the pipe walls (the Kapitza resistance). I am unsure how to put this input resistance into my comsol model. I try adding "Thermal Contact" to my model but I can't select the fluid-solid barrier. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
