Floquet periodicity on phononic crystal

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to compute eigenfrequencies on a simple 2D phononic crystal model in order to determine band gaps.

It is a simple structure composed of a square and a cicular hole in the middle made of two different materials.

However I would like to add Floquet periodicity as periodic condition in the physics but I can't find how to achieve this.

In the "type of periodicity" section, I am only able to choose "continuity" or "antiperiodicity" but Floquet periodicity does not appear in the selection menu.

Do you know how to do this ? I am working on Comsol 4.2

Thanks,
