Free Convection in Reduced Pressure (Air)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi All,
I am trying to simulate heat transfer in a solid material (by conduction ) located in air where free convection is possible. However, I would like to be able to change the pressure of the air surrounding the solid material to evaluate the effect of low pressure (10 - 500 mTorr) on temperature distribution of the solid material.

I have tried using the Conjugate heat transfer module that is similar to the light bulb filled with Ar gas tutorial by replacing Ar with air, however, I couldn't figure out how to change the pressure of the air and couple it to the thermal conductivity of the air.

Thanks in advance,
-Ozan
